Bristol Early Music Festival Student Bursary Scheme 2026

This year we are delighted to offer student bursaries which cover the cost of admission to all Festival events.

Bursaries are open to students of music or students of other subjects who regularly participate in musical activities such as orchestras or choirs.

Young musicians of 18-23 not in higher education may also apply, giving the name and contact details of a suitable referee (e.g. music teacher, choir/orchestra director).

Applicants should present a short statement (5000 characters maximum) describing their musical interests/activities and explaining how they would benefit from participation in the Bristol Early Music Festival. Applicants should also include their ac.uk email address, or (for young musicians aged 18-23 not in higher education) their personal email address and the name and email address of a referee.

The deadline for applications is March31st 2026, and we will notify you of the results by Friday 10th April.
