About the event
The finale of this year's Bristol Early Music Festival will be an exciting concert directed by Andrea Brown, which includes a rare performance of Lully's Dies Irae, and Sweelinck's double choir setting of psalm 42, Ainsi qu'on oit le cerf bruire. These will be accompanied by the South-West Baroque Orchestra, an accomplished period instrument ensemble.
If you would like to be part of the festival chorus who will perform in this concert, please sign up below.
You will be expected to attend all three rehearsals (Saturday 9th May 10-12am and 1.30-3.45pm, and Sunday 10th May 2-4.15pm) and the performance itself will be at 5pm on Sunday 10th May. You will need to be a confident sight reader, able to learn your part swiftly.
Places are limited, and will be allocated on a strictly first come, first served basis, so if you would like to take part in this event, please act fast!
You can pay to just take part in the chorus or, for an extra fee, buy a special chorus festival pass that allows you to attend all other festival events that do not clash with the chorus rehearsals. For full details of these, please see our main website at Events | My Site
