About the event
Chelys and Fair Oriana introduce you to the many animals in their menagerie, from the shepherdess Phyllis with her flock of sheep, a frog and mouse who get married, a flying Pegasus and a lapdog who plays a dangerous game as the favourite of Queen Elizabeth I. Not to mention Three Ravens contemplating a rather grisly breakfast, and a dancing baboon…! Come on a guided tour of the various animal enclosures with music by Byrd, Dowland, Dering, Marenzio and Weelkes.
Admission £20 if booked in advance, £22 on the door. Free for accompanied under-16s.
